Great people, in great communities is totally my thing, Parkrun is one such community that just makes people smile, well, it always seems to make me want to vom when I'm running but it is the most amazing, inclusive event - just wonderful!

Part of the 'deal' for Parkrun is that you give, giving involves participating as a volunteer, as suggestion is x1 volunteer role for every x10 Parkruns you take part in. I use my Volunteer time to take pictures, to help market the event and inspire others to join in.

All my Parkruns have been at Fell Foot, I started very late 1st April 2023 with a time of 41m25s and have now done 31 Parkruns and Volunteered x5 times, with a best time of 28m31s - quite astonishing how much fitness improves when all you do is move more!

Parkrun is free to enter and enjoy, volunteer led and just a joyous start to a Saturday morning!
