2021 is the year the Bluebird legend, Donald Campbell would have been 100 years old, I grew up hearing much about Donald Campbell, my Dad was a petrol head so my brother and I spent much of our childhood around motorsport and cars in general.

I got a call of Jago to assist him in Coniston with a filming job at The Ruskin Museum, Andy Kershaw, hosting a Q&A with Gina Campbell, a legend in her own right and daughter of Donald - I didn't need asking twice!

We often 'pool' kit so between us we have some of the best kit on the market, which, living in The Lakes means we can react quickly, without having to 'hire in', we also trust each other skills implicitly, having worked on very stressful shoots around the world.

I was on 'Andy Cam' (The finest British Broadcaster - bar none. Stephen Fry) and it was really quite surreal hearing Andy's voice in my headphones, Andy has somehow always been on the TV or Radio for as long as I remember, he is incredibly knowledgeable on all things 'fast' and also a massive bike fan, like my self!

Great also to meet Gina's husband Brian, seems he is not too shabby on a bike, with an impressive three figure avg lap of the TT Mountain course!
